Dear Friends,

Thoughts of summer weather, vacations, and spending time with family are common for the month of June. Our children in Romania look forward to summertime as well. They have also been studying very hard and are looking forward to spending more time outside, attending youth camp, maybe even taking a family vacation with their "families".

Thanks for partnering with us to better the lives of Romania's hurting children. Your support is so important to us and we couldn't do our work without your help. Together we are affecting their futures!

Gratefully,

Angie Thomson

Our young men at the Boys' Apartment have been working hard and focusing on finishing their educations. In addition to their studies, they have taken in a young boy (pictured at the left), a 6-year-old street boy who, when we took him in, had Hepatitis B in a latent state. He has been receiving medical treatments and is progressing so well, both physically and emotionally. Our young men, especially our oldest, Gusti, have taken a special interest in caring for him and are helping with his education. He received speech therapy, got a new pair of glasses, and in April went to kindergarten for the first time. He is becoming a very active little boy and is happy to be in a place where he feels loved and cared for. Gusti, Emil and Viorel (our older young men) are participating every day in this former street boy's new life and are giving back to their own. We are so proud of them!
