It is so great to have you as our partner in the task of rescuing and rehabilitating the street children of Bucharest, Romania. We and our staff are on the streets, in the Rescue Center, in our Family Home projects, in the abandoned baby hospital, but YOU are providing the life-line with your giving! One of the wonderful opportunities we've been given in the past few months is to help a 19-year-old mother, Angelica, and her two small children. This young mother was begging with her two children near the train station but was also hiding from an abusive partner. Our staff saw her and how she was trying to eek out a living for herself and her two little girls. We took her into the Girls' Home and she has been living there for the last few months. She is receiving help from the staff as well as the older girls who assist her in taking care of her daughters. In return, she helps with the cleaning and cooking at the Girls' Home. She told Marilena, one of our staff, "I feel like I'm living a dream! I'm so thankful for the help and support I've been receiving through Orasul Sperantei (Romanian City of Hope)."
