In a recent conversation with Liviu, Ruben's father, he shared the struggles that he and his wife Felicia are going through. Shortly after one of their many visits to the hospital for Ruben's chemotherapy treatments Liviu said, "It was a difficult day for us at the hospital today. Ruben is receiving the chemotherapy treatments, but Felicia and I feel like we are receiving them as well...going through the suffering and pain with him." Hodgkin's Disease is a malignant (cancerous) growth of cells in the lymph system. Ruben's disease started as a large mass in the lymph nodes in his neck. We are hopeful for Ruben's healing and quick recovery.
